Create a thaumatrope that correctly demonstrates the concept of “persistence of vision” and create one collaborative zoetrope animation individually or in groups no bigger than two  people that portray an illusion of motion through morphing transitions.  Each group animation must be compiled digitally (photography each cell in sequential order then assemble in Quicktime 7).

Minimum Requirements:
Zoetrope animation test strip-15 frames (first due date–3/5, Wednesday)
At least 15 frames long
No stick figures
No popular characters (i.e. Pokemon, Pikachu, Angry Birds, etc.)
Correctly show persistence of vision and an illusion of motion
Display morphing between singular objects/things

Conceptualize and create a Masstransiscope of your own.  Plan out your animation using the flipbook worksheets.  Assemble to test using the Zoetrope in class.  There should be more or less than 15 frames.
